St. Charles Pathways Concept Plan

Adopted in 2002 by the Parks and Recreation Board and St. Charles City Council, the Pathways Concept Plan identifies possible trails throughout the City of St. Charles. The plan includes 5 different types of trails such as a bike lane along a road or a designated pedestrian greenway for walking. rollerblading, biking, etc... Many projects are in the works to make the walkable community concept a reality. By clicking on the title, you can view the concecpt plan document. Webster/Heatherbrook Parks Master Planning

The final Master Plan was presented to the Parks and Recreation Board on January 18, 2006 during its regular Parks and Recreation Board Meeting. Thank you to all who participated in this public process! Master Plan Design

Eco Park

The Eco Park is located in DuSable Park and will consist of wetlands, 3 miles of crushed rock and sand trails and river overlooks. Situated along the Missouri River, this park will be a unique addition to the Park System providing a educational area of flora and fauna. The Park will begin at Bales Park Area and continue to follow the River to Blanchette Landing on the River side of the Levee. The Park is currently under construction.
