The plan includes 5 different types of trails such as a bike lane along a road or a designated pedestrian greenway for walking. rollerblading, biking, etc... Eco Park Trailhead
When Eco Park opened in 2009, St. Charles got a great area for residents and visitors to enjoy nature and learn about conservation. This extension of DuSable Park consists of wetlands, 3 miles of crushed rock and sand trails and river overlooks.
For 2010, we are going to expand this unique park by installing another trailhead area complete with a gazebo, more educational signs and lots of gorgeous flora. The project is mainly focused on the lot in the 1800 block of North 2nd Street.
