FEATURING RAIL

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2010
FEATURING BLACK DOG & THE RAINMAKERS

MUSIC BEGINS AT 6 PM

The Task Team, which is made up of the Parks and Recreation Board, Council Members, Mayor York and residents continue to explore the options of Bum's Hollow. Important to all of the different individuals involved is the long history of sledding and winter activities not be interrupted by the alternative use of Bum's Hollow.

The concept and use of this natural amphitheater for entertainment has been around for years even dating back to the 1920's with great photos of entertainment and residents enjoying the Park.

New conceptual drawings have been completed to enhance the area for various types of entertainment from theatrical performances to Jazz Bands. Some funding has been placed within the Parks and Recreation Board's Capital Improvements Plan for 2011. The possibility of raising funds through private individuals or foundations is being explored.

Your input for the future of Bum's Hollow is very important to us and we hope you'll take a moment to provide your thoughts. Please email us at maralee.britton@stcharlesparks.com
