Have you hugged a tree lately? Join the St. Charles Parks and Recreation Department in celebrating the environment and all things trees at Blanchette Park. The St Charles Parks & Recreation Department will give away tree saplings to the first 100 people in attendance.  There will be a tree planting ceremony performed by staff and individuals who have donated trees in past year will be recognized.  The event will elevate the awareness of trees, improve resident’s property, and protect local watersheds.

Participants will receive one free tree while supplies last. Trees available will include Eastern Wahoo, Northern Red Oak, Redbud and Swamp White Oak.
