Bird Watching Event Graphic

Join us for this unique walk through the McNair Park Braille Trail to identify the different kinds of birds that have ventured into the trails with our Park’s Horticulturist, Dee Burkemper. During this walk we typically spot everything from White-Breasted Nuthatch to Dark-eyed Juncos, Mourning Doves, Black-capped Chickadee, Cardinals and a variety of woodpeckers and hawks. Please keep in mind this is a walking tour, wearing comfortable shoes is recommended. Bringing your own binoculars is recommended to enhance your viewing experience.
